A Season of Inquisitiveness: Learning to Embrace AI

Lately, I’ve been in a season of inquisitiveness. You know how sometimes life nudges you into a space where you start asking more questions than you have answers? That’s where I am right now.

For me, one of those questions has been about technology—specifically, artificial intelligence. I’ll admit, I didn’t always see myself leaning into AI. At first, it felt distant, maybe even unnecessary. But then I began thinking: if the world is shifting around me, shouldn’t I be curious enough to explore how those shifts could work for me instead of just happening to me?

So, I’ve been asking: What would it look like to embrace AI in ways that serve my purpose? How could it strengthen the work I do, not replace it? Could it help me organize, communicate, and create with even more clarity and impact?

The more I lean into these questions, the more I realize this is about more than technology. It’s about stewardship. Just as I’ve had to steward opportunities, relationships, and even my own healing, this is another tool I can choose to handle with wisdom. I’m not looking at AI as the future of everything, but I am looking at it as part of my future self—an asset I can leverage to build, grow, and expand the work I’ve been called to do.

And here’s the truth I keep coming back to: growth doesn’t come when we resist change; it comes when we lean in with curiosity. If I remain inquisitive, I stay open. And if I stay open, I position myself for possibilities I might have never imagined.

So, in this season of asking questions, I’m choosing not to fear what I don’t know. Instead, I’m choosing to learn, to explore, and to trust that even in this space of artificial intelligence, I can still show up authentically—as me.

Because at the end of the day, tools will evolve. But the heart behind how we use them—that’s what really matters.
